I have recently discovered one of Emily Henry’s, dare I claim, most iconic books. I believe it is well worth the read and a great pick up before Summer 2022 comes to an end.

The number of people who commented something along the lines of “Wow, everybody is reading that right now” as it rested gently in the crook of my arm was quite surprising. And all of us with like minds were on to something–this book is very entertaining. It is witty, eerily descriptive, and a classic in terms of romance novel plots: friends turn to lovers. I thoroughly enjoyed the amount of traveling the main character Poppy and her best friend Alex had done in their 10+ years of friendship. However, when hidden feelings come to the surface and force them to confront years of quelled desires, they must address their romantic love for each other and what they’re going to do about it.
