There is something about my Fall 2023 Reading List that I love. A mix of steamy romance, sci-fi, and more.
- A Summer to Remember by Erika Montgomery: I picked this up in the airport and really enjoyed the flow of the novel, foes-to-lovers plot, and the slight plot twist. Its a short small book perfect for travel and a quick read.
- Butterfly by Ashley Antoinette: The only way to describe this book is SEXY! This is a modern day more polished hood love story. And I enjoyed every minute of it. This is book one out of five and please know, I will be reading every single one in this series. I am that invested and you all will be too.
- A Ghost in Shining Armor by Therese Beharrie: Another airport pickup and this book was so interesting. The male protagonist was a ghost and the female protagonist was a supernatural communicator. A bit slow in terms of story progression but the plot alone made me stay and I think you will too.
- Imago by Octavia E. Butler: This sci-fi, alternate world novel will not be for everyone but I truly enjoyed it. It is very descriptive and if you think you’ll enjoy first person depiction of a post-war world of black aliens this is for you.
